Thailand’s Electricity Generating Public Co Ltd (EGCO Group) has acquired a 25% interest in the owner of the 640-MW Yunlin offshore wind project in Taiwan, it said.

Global infrastructure investment manager I Squared Capital has wrapped up the sale of Taiwanese solar firm Chenya Energy and its assets of over 340 MW to Japan’s Marubeni Corp.

-- Daimler Truck, Volvo agree to form hydrogen fuel cell JV
European truck and bus makers Daimler Truck AG and Volvo AB (STO:VOLV-B) have entered into a preliminary non-binding agreement to set up a joint venture (JV) to develop, produce and market hydrogen fuel cell systems for heavy-duty vehicles.
The Swedish group is to acquire a 50% in the JV for around EUR 0.6 billion.
