One drilling permit and three completions reports were announced last week by the Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission.
Cenco, Inc., of El Dorado is the operator and Sewell Drilling is the contractor for the Savage No. 1, 671 feet FSL and 1,017 feet FWL in Section 4-17S-5W in a wildcat field in Ashley County. Total vertical depth will be to 4,950 in the Smackover Lime. Work began June 2.
Jerry Langley Oil Company of Smackover has completed the Louis Werner “AB” 53, 1,387 feet FSL an 1,125 feet FWL in Section 6-16S-16W in the Smackover Field of Union County. Total depth was to 2,726 feet in the Tokio Zone with perforations between 2,624.5 and 2,625.5 feet. Daily production was one barrels. Work was completed October 28, 2015.
Berg, Laney and Brown Company of Camden reported that two wells drilled in the Smackover field last August were not completed. They were the Smith “A” 18, 280 feet FNL and 280 feet FSL in Section 24-16-16W, which was drilled to 2,804 feet; and the Smith “B” 1, 100 feet FSL and 1,054 feet FEL in Section 13-16S-16W, which was drilled to 2,212 feet.
