Wildcat Resources (WC8) will recommence its soil sampling program at its Mt Adrah Gold Project in the Lachlan Fold Belt next week.
The company commenced a major soil program in December, which will be completed by the end of the month.
Wildcat has pointed out its geological team are based in New South Wales, so COVID-19 restrictions shouldn't be an issue.
It is expected that around 300 samples will be taken regionally across a range of areas along the 18-kilometre strike on the Gilmore Structure.
Interestingly, this is the largest sampling program the company has initiated and will give the geological team a significant insight into the target areas.
Notably, the land package has been through a number of hands over the last few decades, meaning much of the data is inconsistent.
Once the soil sampling is complete, Wildcat is planning an upcoming field trip to follow up prospects of interest and define drill pad locations for the upcoming 2021 program.
For this field trip, the company is planning to use its established geological consultants, however, due to border restrictions, this may not happen. If border restrictions are an issue, the Perth-based explorer has a network of well-experienced geologists within NSW that can be deployed if needed.
On the market this afternoon, Wildcat is in the grey and trading at 2.8 cents per share at 12:56 am AEDT.
