Teekay Offshore has awarded Bilfinger Salamis UK a three-year contract to provide services for four North Sea floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels.
The contract includes the option of two one-year extensions and continues a relationship between the companies that began in 2014.
Maintenance, modifications and operations specialist Bilfinger will deliver fabric maintenance services on Teekays four North Sea FPSOs Petrojarl Foinaven, Petrojarl Banff, Voyageur Spirit and Hummingbird Spirit.
The contract includes a range of services including surface preparation and coating application; insulation and cladding; fireproofing; scaffolding and access provision; vessel and tank cleaning; rope access, and environmental services.
Bilfinger Salamis UK managing director, Sandy Bonner, said Bilfinger has developed a range of techniques and solutions to specifically suit the maintenance needs of FPSOs and late life offshore assets.
